Kuch Pyaar Ka Paagalpan Bhi Tha — Full Story & Plot Summary

The narrative explores the harsh, unglamorous realities of immigrant life. Mujtaba, a coddled computer engineer from Iqbal Town, Lahore, moves to the UK/US to live with his wealthy uncle, expecting his corporate empire and his beautiful cousin Danize to be handed to him on a silver platter. Instead, he faces severe culture shock and open hostility. Danize is an arrogant snob who, along with her wealthy childhood friend Shamraiz, views Mujtaba as an uncultured simpleton. The duo orchestrates a toxic conspiracy that gets Mujtaba thrown out of the house. Desolate and broke, Mujtaba's path crosses with Kiran, a fiercely hardworking, independent immigrant girl escaping her own abusive family by working two grueling jobs. The story details their mutual survival and shifts in perspective as the grass proves not to be greener on the other side.
