Intekhab — Full Story & Plot Summary

The narrative revolves around two completely different sisters, Muskaan and Mohni, exploring love, greed, sacrifice, and broken relationships. While Muskaan is selfless and deeply values family bonds, Mohni is intensely ambitious and obsessed with acquiring wealth and status. Mohni traps Mohib, a sincere businessman who loves her blindly. However, on the very day of their Nikah, Mohni discovers Mohib's UK visa was rejected and abruptly calls off the marriage, leaving the family devastated. To preserve the household's honor under extreme societal pressure, Muskaan steps in and marries Mohib instead. Mohni quickly moves on to target Zaroon, a rich man, marrying him against her family's wishes and causing her father to disown her.
